AXISHIELD

Protect the integrity of installation, licensing and updates.

A security appliance must protect its own operating chain as carefully as it protects network traffic. AxiShield combines machine-bound identity, signed licence data, package verification and controlled update behaviour to reduce opportunities for tampering or inconsistent deployment.

01

Machine-bound identity

Each authorised deployment is associated with a specific machine identity and customer account. Pairing creates a deliberate approval point before the appliance receives licence entitlements and continues installation.

02

Signed licensing and entitlement control

Signed licence certificates define the edition, validity and allowed applications for the appliance. Entitlements are enforced inside the portal and operating environment so unavailable modules cannot be treated as merely hidden interface elements.

03

Verified packages and atomic updates

Release packages are checked before installation, including cryptographic hash verification. Update work is isolated and committed as a controlled operation so a failed deployment is less likely to leave the appliance in a partially updated state.

04

Controlled offline operation and recovery

Offline lease and grace rules allow planned operation without weakening ownership controls. Backup, rollback and installer recovery mechanisms are designed to restore a known state while preserving critical appliance identity and policy data.
