Teams can build connectivity, assign controls, investigate events and maintain the appliance from the same workspace, while each security function remains clearly separated and independently manageable.
Network foundation
Build the protected environment from clearly identified interfaces, roles and routing rules. Configure WAN, LAN, management, free and CCTV networks, then add DHCP, DNS, Multi-WAN failover or weighted load balancing without losing visibility of how traffic is expected to move.
Independent security engines
Firewall, Network Protector, malware scanning, network file inspection, web controls, threat intelligence and VPN routing remain separate applications. Each engine can maintain its own reusable policies and assign them to one or several interfaces without forcing a single monolithic configuration.
Cloud and published-service protection
Protect hosted applications and exposed services through reverse proxy, web application firewall, API controls, SQL injection protection, XSS protection, TLS management and mail security. Cloud functions follow the same operational principles as local network protection.
Operations and lifecycle control
Logs, alerts, traffic analysis and system monitoring provide the context needed to understand what is happening. Backup, update, hardware, storage, user and licence controls help keep the appliance supportable throughout its operational life.
